Main character Dr. Carl Lightman (Tim Roth) has the ability to detect the truth by analyzing a person’s face, body, voice, and speech. Illustrating how “the truth is written all over our faces,” we cast a variety of people and directed them to evoke seven specific emotions which were filmed in a variety of extreme close-up compositions to suggest Dr. Lightman’s acute eye. This main title was Emmy nominated.
